The latest evolution of the best-selling Dainese Racing jacket, the Racing 5 Perf. Leather Jacket is designed for motorcycle riders who travel in warm weather and summer conditions. With a regular and sporty fit, it is made from premium 1.2 mm Tutu cowhide leather, featuring strategically placed perforations for maximum ventilation on the hottest days.

A focus on ergonomics led to extensive studies on riding positions to refine details that reduce pressure on the neck, such as the Veloce Racing Neck collar. The jacket ensures exceptional comfort and mobility by incorporating wide S1 bi-elastic fabric and adjustable systems at the hips.

Designed for both comfort and protection, the EN 17092 class AA-certified Racing 5 Perf. Jacket includes composite protectors (CE Level 2) on elbows and shoulders, along with replaceable aluminum inserts on the shoulders. These inserts promote a natural sliding motion in case of a fall. A dedicated pocket is designed to accommodate Type G back and chest protectors for added safety.

Thanks to precise fit studies, the jacket can be comfortably worn over the Dainese Smart Air airbag system without requiring a larger size. The sleeves’ tailored fit prevents protectors from shifting in a crash, ensuring consistent protection. Additionally, Smart Air fastening loops allow riders to put on and remove the airbag with a single movement, keeping it in the correct position under the jacket.

To enhance functionality in all weather conditions, the Racing 5 Perf. Leather Jacket includes a practical internal waterproof pocket, allowing riders to store electronic devices safely in bad weather.
