DESCRIPTION

The Rocker Arm Assembly is a critical component in an internal combustion engine’s valve train system. This assembly is responsible for converting the rotational movement of the camshaft into linear motion, which opens and closes the engine’s intake and exhaust valves. By precisely controlling the timing and duration of valve operation, the rocker arm assembly plays a key role in optimizing engine performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions control. The rocker arm assembly is designed to withstand high stress and temperatures within the engine. The assembly includes rocker arms, pivot points, and sometimes a shaft or individual pivots, depending on the engine design. The rocker arms are positioned between the camshaft and the valves, with one end following the camshaft lobes and the other end pushing against the valve stems.
